She came in last thursday, I reset the ECM. No problems whatsoever for the entire weekend. Put over 1000 miles on her, and this morning started her up and it looks like the oil pump failed and I now have an awful noise exactly like this.

That sounds like a ring scraping the cylinder wall, as well as a rod knocking. Basically, if the block isn't hosed, it's a full rebuild.
Me? I'd just toss in an LS engine and be done with it.

Well that's massively unlucky :( I wonder how much a supercharged 5.0 is from a crashed late XKR...
